Translation and apostille of Vanuatu documents

Vanuatu documents, such as a birth certificate, citizenship certificate or police clearance certificate, sometimes need to be translated into another language and apostilled to be accepted in another country. This guide explains Royal Golden's translation and apostille from Vanuatu service step by step.

Citizens of Vanuatu who live in another country need official translations of their Vanuatu documents for matters such as registering a marriage, residence, study or work. Royal Golden has a "translation and apostille from Vanuatu" service for this. This guide comes from the service's page on the site, checked on 24 October 2026.

The apostille and Vanuatu

An apostille is a single-step certificate legalising a document between the countries of the Hague Apostille Convention. According to the official HCCH table, Vanuatu is a party to the Convention. Whether your destination country accepts the apostille or needs another process depends on that country's membership.

Languages

Translation is made into every recognised language in the world. If the language you need is not in the form's list, choose "Another language" and write its name.

The process

  • Upload the documents to be translated and the documents needed for the translation, and tell us the language you want.
  • Our team checks the documents and e-mails you the invoice: translation, an apostille if requested, and DHL delivery.
  • You pay the invoice in tether (USDT, TRON network, TRC-20).
  • The documents are translated and sent to you by DHL with a tracking code.

The cost

The cost of translation depends on the documents and is set after our team's review. The DHL delivery cost is stated on the service page and appears on the invoice.

Tips for your request

  • Upload an image of your passport under "Documents needed for the translation" so names are written exactly as in the passport.
  • If you need an apostille, tick "I also need an apostille from Vanuatu".
  • In the notes, write the languages, the number of copies or anything else we should know.
  • Enter the DHL delivery address completely and accurately.

Ask before requesting

Ask the body that wants the translated document from you:

  • which language the translation must be in;
  • whether an apostille is needed;
  • whether it wants the original translation or a certified copy.

This guide is general information. Acceptance of the translated document rests with the receiving body.
