For a citizenship or visa application you entrust us with passports, birth certificates, financial documents and sometimes medical information about you and your family. This article summarises Royal Golden's published privacy policy. The binding text is the privacy policy itself, in the legal documents section of the site; this summary was checked against it on 24 October 2026.
Security measures
According to the privacy policy, personal data is protected with technical and organisational measures, including:
- encrypted connections;
- role-based access;
- two-factor authentication for staff;
- malware checks on uploaded files;
- encrypted backups;
- audit records.
Uploaded documents are never published and never shared through a public link.
How long data is kept
- Account data is kept while your account is open.
- Application files, contracts, records of acceptance and signature, and payment and refund records are kept for the term of the contract and afterwards for the periods the law sets for commercial, accounting and anti-money-laundering records, and while a legal claim is possible.
- Technical logs are kept for 14 days and raw visit statistics for 90 days, and encrypted backups are replaced after about 35 days.
- After that, data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
Your rights
According to the privacy policy and under the UAE data protection law, you may:
- ask for information about, and a copy of, the data processed about you;
- ask for incomplete or incorrect data to be corrected;
- ask for data to be deleted if it is no longer needed or was processed unlawfully, unless we must keep it;
- where the law provides, ask for processing to be restricted or stopped;
- object to a decision based solely on automated processing;
- where the law provides, receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing.
If another country's law applies to our processing, the rights that law gives are also preserved.
