Tether (USDT) is a digital currency whose value is tied to the US dollar. At Royal Golden, one dollar counts as one tether. Paying with tether is fast, but it is also irreversible; so care is needed at every step.
The right network: TRON (TRC-20)
- Tether exists on several different networks. Tether payments to Royal Golden are accepted only on the TRON network (TRC-20).
- In your wallet or exchange, choose the TRC-20 or TRON network when withdrawing.
- A transfer on another network may not reach the address, and tracing it may be difficult or impossible.
Take the address and amount only from the portal
- The payment address and amount are shown on the payment page of that order, invoice or top-up, in your own account.
- Copy the address rather than typing it; after pasting, compare its first and last few characters with the page.
- Do not use an address sent to you by message, e-mail or social media without checking it against the portal.
The exact amount, with cents
For some payments, such as topping up your balance, a few cents are added to the amount so your transfer can be recognised. Send the amount exactly as shown. If your exchange deducts a withdrawal fee from the amount, set the amount so that the exact figure reaches the address.
Network fee
A transfer on the TRON network carries a network fee, taken from the sender's wallet. Before sending, ask your wallet or exchange how much the fee is and how it is paid.
The transaction ID
- After sending, copy the transaction ID (Transaction ID or Hash) from your wallet or exchange.
- Enter it on the same payment page in the portal.
- If the transaction is not yet visible on the network, it is checked again automatically a few minutes later.
Payment deadline
Each payment request has a deadline shown on the payment page. If the deadline has passed and you have sent nothing, create a new request. If you have sent it, send the transaction ID to support.
Signs of fraud
- Someone asks you to send money to an address other than the portal's;
- a "special discount" on condition of immediate payment to a personal account;
- a request for your password, two-factor code or wallet recovery phrase. No real staff member asks for these;
- an invoice whose verification code cannot be found on the site's verification page.
After payment
- The payment is recorded in the portal and a receipt is issued to you.
- Check the receipt with its verification code on the site.
