How the articles of Royal Golden's knowledge centre are written

Every article in Royal Golden's knowledge centre is written from official or primary sources, gives the date each source was checked at its end, gives no numbers or prices without a source, and is approved before publication. This article explains the method so you know how to trust and check each article.

In citizenship and visa matters, an outdated number or an unsourced claim can lead to a wrong decision. That is why the articles of Royal Golden's knowledge centre are written to a few fixed rules.

Official sources, with dates

  • Every important fact is taken from an official or primary source: the website of the government or body concerned, such as the CBIU of Dominica, the European Commission and Council, GOV.UK, and the UAE's ICP and GDRFA.
  • At the end of each article, the "Sources" section gives each source's address and the date it was checked.
  • If we could read a source only through the search index, because its website refused direct access, we say so beside the source.

Secondary sources, labelled

If an official source is not available and we use a secondary source, such as an encyclopaedia or a news agency, it is labelled "secondary source" so you know its weight.

No unsourced numbers

  • Amounts, fees, statistics and times are given only with a source and a date.
  • Where the official source has given no definite date, we say so; for example, about the start date of Europe's ETIAS.
  • Where two official sources differ, we give both with their names; for example, about the duration of the UAE's golden residence.

Royal Golden's own information

  • About our services, prices and contracts, we quote only the texts published and approved on the site and in the contracts.
  • The binding text is always the contract or the published legal document itself, not its summary in an article.

Approval before publication

Every article is reviewed and approved before publication. Each article's publication date is shown at its top.

When rules change

Citizenship, visa and travel rules change. If you see a change an article does not yet reflect, tell us through the contact page or the portal.

What articles do not replace

The articles are general information and not legal, tax or financial advice. Decisions on citizenship, visas and entry rest with the authorities of the country concerned.
