Required documents
We only ask for documents that have a valid basis for your application route. Your exact list appears in your account after the eligibility check.
Passport data page
A clear colour image of the whole data page with the two machine-readable lines at the bottom.
Personal photo
A recent colour photo on a white background, the face fully visible, no sunglasses. JPG or PNG only.
National identity card of the home country
For nationals of Iran, Iraq, Pakistan and Afghanistan, as required by Dubai's residency and foreigners affairs authority: both sides of the card.
Residence document of the country of residence
If you live outside your country of nationality: a valid residence card or document.
Foreign visa or residence for the special route
For the special route: the valid visa or residence the route is based on.
Onward or return ticket
A booking to leave the UAE, if the case requires it.
Proof of accommodation
A hotel booking or the host's address, if asked.
Travel insurance
Valid travel insurance for the stay, if the route requires it.
Birth certificate
For anyone under 18: a birth certificate naming the parents.
Consent of the parents or guardian
For anyone under 18: the signed consent of the parent not travelling or the legal guardian, with a copy of their identity document.
Upload rules
- A JPG or PNG image or a PDF file, at most 8 MB per file.
- The image must be sharp and not blurred, with all edges and details visible.
- Upload the whole page, without cropping or editing.
- Documents are stored encrypted in private storage and never sent by e-mail.
